Tuinbeelden:

A try-out. Put a (bigger) sculpture in your garden and keep it there for a while. Look at it in the morning, the afternoon and in twilight. The best effect you'll get sunwise during the whole day. The sculptures (images) in the stone will leap and the expressions will change too. Making photo-shoots of this phenomenom, it's you and the camera who are registrating it, without manipulating neither the stone nor the photo. So you're registrating the light in all its various affects on the stone. And it's the natural light of the sun which causes it. This is only one of the many light-techniques. Think about sitting at the camp-fire, or the fireplace in the hut, together with the whole family, telling stories, entertaining the children with this kind of image-language, holding stones in their hands and, with the moving light of the fire the images emerge of themselves. Throwing shadows on the walls is another technique, in working with the light of fire.
